IMA Thiruvananthapuram held an excellent General Body meeting on March 27th at Hotel Residency Statue, Thiruvananthapuram. The meeting commenced with a thought-provoking CME on Antimicrobial Stewardship by Dr. Heera Hassan, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.
Three candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, namely Sri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Sri Panyan Raveendran, and Sri Shashi Tharoor, attended the meeting and interacted with our members. We presented our Health Policy document, prepared by the National IMA after our National Conference, and our charter of demands to all three candidates. The highlight of the GB was the significant participation from our members.
